Opportunity Overview:

Potential Unleashed Consulting is excited to announce our new internship.  Through this internship we strive to provide additional resources to strengthen the Black community in the higher education, non-profit, government, and private sectors.

Potential Unleashed specializes in customized organizational consulting and training for personal and professional development, cultural alignment, change management, and leadership coaching.

As an organization we focus our consulting within three major categories:

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Education
  • Leadership

DEI

There has never been a more relevant time to help organizations succeed in their efforts to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe that an organization that prioritizes diversity, equity and inclusion creates an environment that respects and values individual difference along varying dimensions.

In addition, inclusive organizations foster cultures that minimize bias and recognize and address systemic inequities, which, if unaddressed, can create disadvantage for certain individuals. This is not a human resources issue, it is a strategic issue. These efforts should be reflected in organizational mission, vision, and values; incorporated into strategic plans; and cascaded throughout the organization.

Education

Schools that cultivate and leadership focused on academic excellence, language, and beliefs are more likely to achieve a high performing culture. We identify and measure the factors that have the greatest impact on student performance and provide advice for improving team performance and alignment with the future direction. We advise on areas such as beliefs of staff and students, expectations, and developing a common language.

Applying deep expertise, proprietary tools and considerable experience, we provide the insight into beliefs and behavior of both staff and students ultimately solving root challenges.

Leadership

We provide the insight that organizations rely on to select and develop executives, set new leaders up for success, optimize team effectiveness, and evaluate and evolve their organizational cultures.

A company’s culture can make or break even the most insightful strategy, but it is one level of performance that companies can struggle to harness. Boards and management teams can help foster long-term shareholder value by deepening their understanding of culture and forging a culture that is aligned with the business strategy, especially when transformation is on the agenda.

Organizations that cultivate and sustain high-performing senior leadership teams are more likely to outpace the competition and realize breakout success. We identify and measure the factors that have the greatest impact on the health of top leadership teams, including team styles and dynamics, and provide advice for improving team performance and alignment with the future direction of the business. We advise on areas such as team formation, role definition and structure.

Potential Unleashed Consulting hires consultants and vendors that reflect our commitment to developing exceptional leaders, evolving organizational cultures, diversity, inclusion and education.

Opportunity Overview:

The DiverseCity App is excited to announce our new internship. Through this internship we strive to provide additional resources to bring to market a new innovative Mobile App that will strengthen and enhance organizational DEI training initiatives.

The DiverseCity App is a tool designed to disseminate educate, broaden comprehension and continuously reinforce the conscious practice of inclusion. With The DiverseCity App, employees use a virtual group approach to explore tough topics in a safe and engaging manner.

This position will support the efforts of bringing this new technology to market. We are looking for individuals who are forward thinking, tech-savvy, with a heart for justice.

A Heart for Justice

There has never been a more relevant time to help organizations succeed in their efforts to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe that an organization that prioritizes diversity, equity and inclusion creates an environment that respects and values individual difference along varying dimensions.

In addition, inclusive organizations foster cultures that minimize bias and recognize and address systemic inequities, which, if unaddressed, can create disadvantage for certain individuals. This is not a human resources issue; it is a strategic issue. These efforts should be reflected in organizational mission, vision, and values; incorporated into strategic plans; and cascaded throughout the organization.

Forward Thinking

“Diversity, equity and inclusion programs are a top priority for more companies than ever before, with corporations and organizations spending billions of dollars annually on the cause. Unfortunately, many of these efforts do not have a lasting impact, and some could even end up leading to more division in the organization” – Forbes Magazine, August 2, 2021

Traditional methodologies for delivering DEI training, such as mandatory webinars, going to conferences or public relations campaigns are not enough in these times. The DiverseCity App is solving for the barriers that hinder sustained and integrated change. The particular barriers we address are Safety, Scalability, Sustainability, Engagement and Cost. If this excites your mind and gets you thinking about the possibilities, we want to talk.

Tech Savvy

Our product is new, innovative and meets people where they are. A tech savvy person will see the benefits of using technology to our clients’ and, frankly, the world’s advantage. A tech savvy person will want to tell the world what we have and be excited to bring people to the table.
